Tomorrow we are due to arrive at St James' hospital by midday. The doctors will then prepare to take the necessary bone marrow for tests. The procedure will be done the following morning under general anesthetic, so she will not feel it. If leukaemia is found, they will begin chemotherapy within hours of the bone marrow test.
Please pray that they will not find leukaemia in her bone marrow tomorrow. Miracles do happen, so let's push for this one.
I just wish she did not have to go through all this. I look at her and cannot believe she is unwell as she is so playful and healthy-looking. Please also pray that the preparation for the procedure goes well, that she is not too afraid and that the procedure goes well.

This is Catherine's story: Expect Miracles
This is Catherine's blog. Catherine is now six years old and is in remission from leukaemia (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia - ALL). Leukaemia is a rare yet treatable form of cancer that affects the bone marrow and blood. This blog began at the start of her treatment in August 2008. The treatment lasted until October 2010. She went into remission remarkably early and the treatment was focussed on making sure the disease never returned. Over 15000 people have prayed for Catherine during the past three years for which her parents are deeply grateful. So many people love Catherine that it was hard to update everyone, so her parents began this blog to keep everyone updated. Catherine is the daughter of two Salvation Army Officers in the UK. This blog is a place to be updated, to send wishes to the parents and basically for everyone who knows Catherine (or doesn't) to be able to find out more about her progress. Feel free to post comments, concerns and questions. All prayers for Catherine at this time continue to be warmly received by her parents and Catherine's extended family. Catherine is now receiving blood tests and will be monitored regularly until she is ten-year-old when she will be give the official 'all clear'. Her parents especially welcome readers who are experiencing a child dealing with any form of cancer. Their prayer is that this blog will help them in their journeys.

just a short note to let you know that we are all thinking of you and prayng hard here at waterbeach.
Catherine is a tough cookie and although you may feel family and friends are a long way away, God is not and i do believe that you are in the right place for catherine right now.
Always remember God loves you and is with you in all this.

Thinking of you and praying for Catherine and the bone marrow tests. We are praying that they do not find leukaemia but do dicover what is wrong and that it is quickly and simply treated. Catherine is in good hands. We can only know some of how you must feel but our prayer is that you will have a strong sense of God holding you through all of this.
